The protection of the climate and the atmosphere is one of the greatest challenges of our time. HiPP has been saving energy and raw materials for years through consistent environmental management. Since 2011, products have been CO2-neutrally produced at Pfaffenhofen.
HiPP also has climate-neutral productions in Austria, Hungary and Croatia. HiPP is a member of the “Economy for Climate” initiative.

Through consistent use of renewable energies, HiPP has been able to reduce CO2 emissions by roughly 90% in the last 14 years. Compared to in year 2000, approximately 14,000 tonnes less of CO2 was produced in 2014. In order for the Earth to absorb this amount of CO2, a forest the size of roughly 5,000 football pitches would be needed.
