Previously, in 2011 and 2012, HiPP was also voted the most sustainable company in Germany in the WirtschaftsWoche magazine by representative consumer surveys.

This year as well, HiPP was the clear winner out of the 103 companies in 17 sectors. Rank 2 and 3 were occupied by household appliance manufacturer Miele and drugstore chain dm.

The last three positions were filled by McDonald’s, and clothes stores H&M and KIK. The survey showed, on a whole, that consumers choose a brand not only because of the product itself, but also for the company’s commitment in areas of environmental and social matters.
